T&G Management Services is part of Kärcher Group, a global leader in building and equipment maintenance.  We have over 35 years of experience providing service and after-market parts to the large retail store industry nationwide, repairing and supplying parts for floor cleaning and material handling equipment.  We are currently seeking a self-motivated Baler & Compactor Mechanic to join our high caliber team of professionals who will work in the Brooklyn/Queens areas of New York.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProviding service and repairs to various types of equipment as balers, compactors, dock levelers and lift tablesExperience servicing forklifts and electric jacks a plusDaily interaction with customers providing the highest levels of service and productivityRecognizing and securing additional revenue opportunitiesContinuous responsive communication with Dispatch call center to receive assignments and report statusResponsible for safety of van and for assuring that regular vehicle maintenance checks are performedDaily completion and submission of documentation (work orders, parts replenishment, timesheets, etc.)Responsible for van inventory and accuracy 

 QUALIFICATIONSPrior experience in welding, hydraulics and general machine repairMust be able to work with and understand AC electrical controls   Must have knowledge reading electrical schematics
