BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - OUTSOURCING SOLUTIONS FOR MANUFACTURING VERTICAL

JOB TITLE:  VP BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OUTSOURCING for ORACLE ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS - MANUFACTURING VERTICAL (Note that my client is NOT Oracle)

CANDIDATE LOCATION:  This is a virtual office position.  We seek candidates who have the specific outlined experience and who live new a major airport. Relocations are not considered.

PURPOSE OF THIS POSTING:  On behalf of my client, a global leader in their field of Business Process and Information Technology/Infrastructure Outsourcing services sold to all industries, this recruiter (Howard Honeycutt) is searching for candidates with qualifications as outlined below. BRIEF SUMMARY OF POSITION: THIS IS A SALES HUNTER POSITION.  The title will be VP or AVP, Business Development, for Oracle Enterprise Solutions for the Manufacturing Vertical.  Please note that my client is not Oracle.  Extensive 60 to 70% travel will be involved.  This person will be selling my client’s Oracle outsourcing solutions.  The experience with Oracle and the Manufacturing Vertical outlined below is a MUST.  No other experience will qualify. This is an outstanding opportunity for the qualified salesperson who is a true sales “hunterâ€� with this experience.

"MUST HAVEâ€� AND “NICE TO HAVEâ€� CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:Must have a minimum of 8+ years experience in Information Technology Outsourcing industry, and 5+ years of business development, hunter selling experience in this field.Must have experience selling outsourcing into the Manufacturing industry.Will have previous operations or other experience in Oracle (as well as the required outsourcing sales experience) so you know the operating language and be able to understand the ground zero realities.  Must have extensive experience “offshoringâ€� with team members sometimes thousands of miles away such as India, and China.Will understand the growth pangs and motions and pains of going through building from something small.Must have past experience and ability to deal with ambiguity; someone who doesn’t get frustrated with obstacles and lack of structures and definitions too easily, and who works towards creating them and setting them right.Will work effectively as an individual contributor and in virtual teams.Has a high level of influencing and consensus building ability.Understands sales and deals cycles from start to finish, and commercials and relationships.  Must have had individual sales quotas of 3 to 6+ million with excellent record of sales vs. quota.  Must be an “entrepreneurialâ€� thinker and be willing to “roll up their sleevesâ€� and do what it takes. Six Sigma or Lean experience is a plus. Four year degree with advanced degree a plus. Must have experience selling high dollar sales and long sales cycle.
