Location:US-NJ-Secaucus Job Number:00IC7 Employee Status : Regular Job Type :Experienced Schedule : Full-time Description The scope of responsibility of the Associate Director, Senior Financial Systems Product/Service Line Manager includes the overall management and oversight of a team responsible for managing several large-scale portfolios of products or service lines to a critical global client base. This position plays a leading role in both deployment and directing on-going activities for the products or service lines. This role is complex in nature, requiring extensive knowledge of the clients or product area's functions, services and system/service delivery life cycle. This is a strategic position, specifically responsible for providing oversight to the Project Costing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, VAT Accounting and Statutory Accounting functional product and service line areas. Responsibilities Provide strategic guidance and oversight to all aspects of multiple products and/or service line(s). Ensure that product teams facilitate the delivery of product updates and enhancements and appropriately act as final escalation point on hard to resolve issues. Responsible for managing liaisons with the Global Working Community for assigned area. Engage with senior-level counterparts across Global firm. Establish overall strategic direction of multiple products and/or service lines. Approve prioritization of defects and enhancements. Review and approve design and development of functional requirements, end-user documentation and training material. Share expertise with other areas and lead cross-functional initiatives that may extend beyond direct area of responsibility. Provide subject matter expertise during workshops and other training sessions. Serve as a mentor to colleagues, and an advisor and sounding board for group manager. Must have the ability to review complex situations and provide guidance and oversight to management of several products while ensuring that diverse requirements of multiple countries are met. Approve system changes based on needs of clients. Final decision-making authority to direct team to classify and prioritize defects related to the product/service line. Provide guidance and analytical expertise on enhancement requests raised by working communities and approve other changes recommended to senior management. Manage the activities of multiple Product/Service Line Teams. Participate in the selection, development, monitoring of, performance management and overall improvement of several product teams. Prepare and ensure compliance of area budgets. Key contributor toward departmental guidelines and policies. Ensure 100% compliance with performance management objectives. Mentor and counsel manager and staff members. International travel is required. To qualify, candidates must have: an advanced degree in a related discipline a minimum of 12+ years of experience in a medium to large environment, performing business analysis, sales and marketing, business development, and/or project systems management direct experience in complex management activities, such as business development, application development/deployment project management training, practical application, business analysis, sales, marketing, business development or relationship management experience are preferred strong analytical abilities excellent interpersonal, client service, communication, organizational, and project management skills ability to direct several teams through appropriately supporting multiple products and ensuring effective teaming with clients and other central team members ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, ensuring all points of view are considered before reaching a decision ability to react appropriately during crisis situations
