Position Description:

We are currently searching for an Assistant Treasurer to be based in our Valley Forge location. This position is intended to provide critical assistance the VP and Treasurer in various Treasury functions. Position will lend direct support to other Corporate Areas and to the Business Units as reference below. Position will have a primary responsibility in developing the annual Finance Plan. Position will monitor the foreign exchange exposure of the Delegation and implement the hedging of commodities ensuring compliance with Group policies and documentation requirements. Position will manage all foreign payments through the Intergroup payment system or through financial institutions in the case of third party payments. Position will manage the consolidated bank positions in Canada. Position will assist the VP and Treasurer in managing to Delegation Debt portfolio, including debt instruments such as leasing, Asset securitization, Letters of Credit etc, and all the documentation aspects. Position will maintain constant communication with the CSG Treasury to ensure coordination and compliance with information requirements.This position will monitor the management of Foreign Exchange Exposures and will process all international payments. The position will implement all financial hedges, including the negotiation with financial institutions. The position will provide guidance and assistant to the business on several issues such as International transactions, Foreign Exchange Exposure Management, Commodity Hedging, Letters of Credit and Debt portfolio Management. This position will ensure that all financial risks are covered in accordance with CSG policies and will recommend hedging strategies to the businesses. The position will recommend strategies to optimize the cost of borrowing. The position will ensure that reporting to the DTF is timely provided. 4 year college degree and a minimum of 8-10 years in the treasury environment. MBA preferred and knowledge of French is a plus.
