Assistant Manager of Operations

A mid-sized 500 Million dollar business to business supplier of office products  (cubicle / panel systems, office furnishings, printers, computers,  convention supplies (chairs, booths etc)  we are seeking a strong candidate as an Assistant Manager for their management training program.

Summary: The Assistant Manager will be trained and developed with the goal of being promoted to General Manager between 12 to 16 months ( promote from within policy only)

Job Responsibilities:
•  Interview, Hire, Train, Develop and evaluate employees
•  Develop and implement strong Profit and Loss and Budgeting Skills
•  Assist in the marketing strategy and participate in P&L meetings etc
•  Work with warehouse, drivers, and staff providing leadership and assistance in all areas
•  Ensure the standard operation procedures are followed
•  Handle customer issues; provide strong customer service, and follow-up

Salary: Starting is 44,000-48,000K + 400.00 Monthly Bonus.  Once promoted to GM in 12 – 16 Months earnings jump to 55,000 - 95,000K range

Qualifications:
Associates Degree or equivalent (Military, Additional work Experience, etc)
 2 years of assistant or assistant or general management experience
Desire to learn how to run a branch location
Excellent communication skills with ability to work with customers at all levels
Ability to relocate for promotions is a plus
