Area Director of Finance

POSITION PROFILE Under the direction of the Area VP/GM and Regional Director of Finance, provides operational and financial support of the sales, service, leasing, professional services and IMS functions. Assists Area VP/GM in the area of IKON policy compliance and manages the administrative support staff. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Adheres to administrative, operational and financial policies, procedures and processes that support financial goals and performance expectations. Functions as a business partner with Region and Area management. Establishes an open line of communication with all levels within the Region and works closely with management to maintain consistent best practices. Provides Region/Area management with key analytical measurements on Region performance. Ensures the protection of assets and their proper utilization by determining that all controls and accounting policies are followed throughout the company. Manages Area administrative employees including staffing, performance management, motivation, training & employee development either directly or in a matrix management structure. Coordinates budgeting and forecasting with Area management team with the help of the Regional Financial Analyst. Works on deal profitability and bid strategy with the Sales Reps. Assists the Area VP/GM in the development and implementation of area business strategies and assumes responsibility for performance results of specific action plans as directed by the Region or Corporate. Assists in aspects of leasing function, which includes residual and lease end management, standard and non-standard contract documentation, equipment sales treatment and asset recovery. Performs big hit pipeline reviews and portfolio opportunity management along with the designated Finance Marketing Specialist. Works the sales exception list. Works the open order and showroom inventory. Audits and approves all IMS, sales and admin payroll and compensation changes. Approves marketing program verification forms. Serves as liaison between District finance team; SDC, CCC, IOSC, ISSC and Corporate. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications) Requires 4-year college degree (major in Finance or Business Administration preferred) or equivalent experience. CPA a plus.
