We are working with a profitable, stable, company in the Cambridge, MA area fill an Application Developer position

 

Job Description:Consult with users to gain an understanding of desired functionality to define system requirements.Utilize SQL Server, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Visual Studio, Visual Basic.  Will be able to learn C#, Net as the company migrates to these technologiesBuild and maintain web based applications from design specificationsPerform programming, testing and debugging of internal applications.Manage the creation and distribution of routine and ad hoc reports across the company.Manage the delivery of IT projects from concept to completion.Document program code, job processes and program modifications.Prepare documentation for program maintenance and end user support.Work with employees on application issues and provide application training where necessary.



Requirements:5+ Years of professional experience in Application DevelopmentBA/BS degreeStrong SQL knowledge Knowledge of financial reporting procedures and practicesKnowledge of database maintenance and reportingProject management training and experience
