The key to managing such huge volumes is turning the array of data into meaningful information. To this end, our Analytic and Forensic Technology professionals combine forensic accounting and investigative skills with advanced technology to assist clients and their legal counsel.   With the ever increasing demands being put upon corporate law departments finding ways to maintain legal and regulatory compliance and to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their operations is critical to their success. Our Legal Business Consulting professionals understand the unique challenges corporate law departments face and can assist them in the following areas: litigation readiness, records management consulting, strategic and technology planning, performance management, organizational design, matter and content management, legacy data remediation analysis, and legal process outsourcing evaluation.   Analytic & Forensic Technology services include: Claims administration Computer forensics Data analytics Electronic discovery Legal business consulting   Analytic & Forensic Technology - Data Analytics Sr. Associates gather, standardize, and analyze voluminous transactional electronic data, i.e., banking records, general ledgers, broker-dealer records, sales and inventory data.    Sr. Associate can expect to: - Create, manage, and utilize high performance relational databases (SQL Server, Microsoft Access, OLAP and other proprietary software) - Query and mine large data sets to discover transaction patterns, uncover anomalies and filter for targeted information - Design data manipulation interfaces, perform data quality control, develop database reports, and normalize relational data - Balance multiple client projects and other responsibilities - Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management Analytic & Forensic Technology - Data Analytics team members collaborate with attorneys, forensic accountants, clients, and other investigators to produce analyses in support of aninvestigation.  This is not a "back-office programmer" position; this is front-line client interaction with tremendous opportunity for growth and advancement. Candidates should have experience analyzing electronic transactional data.  Candidates should also have an undergraduate degree in 1 or more of the following from an accredited college/university: - A dual major/minor combination including Computer Science or Management Information Systems and Business, i.e., Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, Statistics, Mathematics - Electrical or other related Engineering disciplines - Management Information Systems Competency with 2 or more of the following strengths as an Sr. Associate applicant: - Microsoft SQL Server - Microsoft Access - Microsoft Visual Basic - Oracle - OLAP tools - SQL, SQL+, SQR, PLSQL  Additional strengths for Sr. Associate applicants: - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word,and PowerPoint  - Must be flexible with the travel requirements of client service projects - Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral - Experience in a professional services firm preferred About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
