Location:US-VA-McLean Job Number:MCL0000G Employee Status : Regular Job Type :Experienced Schedule : Full-time Description This position is responsible for supervising a team of Executive Assistant and Learning Support Coordinators in all aspects of administrative functions (performance management, personnel, training & development, learning initiatives, recruiting and teaming). Work closely with Facilities Supervisor (and other internal groups) in support of business processes and functions impacted by EA team. Additionally, the Admin Manager will develop and cultivate highly-effective working relationships with key internal clients and utilize effective consultative and negotiation skills. People skills Leadership & motivation Meeting facilitation and presentation skills Situational & adversity problem solving Change agent, innovative Process oriented Responsibilities Under limited supervision, develop and participate in implementing organizational strategic plans; establish and maintain organizational performance measurements; and monitor financial and operational performance in accordance with established parameters. Understand and use leading practices to improve performance against established measurements. Use established performance measurements and reporting tools to meet business performance goals. Determine staffing models in compliance with practice/area objectives. Ensure the accuracy of Time and Expense submissions and compliance with firm policy. Approve certain discretionary spending and assist with the development and management of budgets. Understand the structure and business of the organization to effectively manage the firm's knowledge, processes and capital resources, including space and equipment. Apply knowledge of the firm's business values, clients, products, and services to understand the unique needs of individuals and groups and to provide viable solutions. Implement leading practices or process improvements to meet changing client needs. Troubleshoot and make recommendations to ensure the resolution of routine infrastructure issues. Identify and use key internal and external contacts to assist others and resolve issues. Share information with colleagues regarding policies and procedures. Lead and develop individuals and teams by using people management processes and tools that involve staffing, training, supervising, coaching, and performance management to achieve optimal performance. Apply knowledge of performance management, interviewing and selection, and compensation in making decisions. Use basic knowledge of employment law in making people management decisions. Foster creativity, openness and consensus-building. Coach teams and individuals for optimum performance. Implement training plans and identify learning opportunities. Resolve work conflicts through constructive facilitation. Understand and actively support the firm's people initiatives. Identify ongoing performance development needs. Utilize teaming approaches to maximize productivity. Recognize and reward individual and team contributions. Align personnel to maximize productivity and efficiency. Meet or exceed the needs of internal clients by partnering with other groups within the matrix organization, cultivating those relationships, aligning people and processes, and identifying workplace efficiencies to add value. Understand practice/client business goals and how they impact the types of services provided. Meet regularly with key clients to ensure consistency in the quality of service delivery. Monitor service requirements and propose solutions and work processes to meet those needs. Assess and track internal client needs to identify service delivery gaps. Build relationships using sound partnering and negotiating skills. Coordinate workflow and propose process improvements. To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor's degree in a related discipline; or equivalent work experience approximately 2-4 years of related work experience
