The Account Manager is responsible for managing key relationship of assigned accounts. Will also perform prospecting, selling, closing, implementation coordination and follow-up tasks in order to secure new business bookings within an assigned territory and achieve/exceed assigned quota.Revenue retention and generation by value-added cross-selling and up-sell of all Equifax solutions. Position Requirements:-Understand the client's industry, business issues, and short/long range needs in order to develop and apply value-added solutions. -Identify business problems or needs and formulate effective, value-added solutions and alternatives to the solution.-Develop proposals found in technical understading and relevant business needs of the client; develop proposals which respond to client solutions/problems that benefit all parties; consistently provide solutions which are supported by sound cost accounting principles and maintain acceptable profit margins.-Perform both formal and informal sales presentation that are clear and targeted to the client; apply effective questioning techniques that result in the acquisition of new information and insight into the problem and needs of the clients and propspective clients.-Utilize effective management practices that will demonstrate leadership qualities when interfacing with each team of individuals assigned to various sales campaigns and accounts; ensure necessary levels of management are informed of progress with the sales campaign.
