Shelton Group, one of the leading corporate communications firms specializing in the technology industry, has an excellent career opportunity for an IR professional. Position will be responsible for developing and implementing Investor Relations programs with guidance in strategic planning and positioning. Candidate will create, organize and manage investor relations programs for a specific group of clients, including serving as primary liaison between management and the investment community. Also, candidates will consult with client management teams on corporate messaging and investor relations goals and develop annual IR program to accomplish said goals.

Responsibilities include working closely with client company management teams to target new investors and analysts, coordinate and manage road shows and financial conferences, as well as create financial presentations, corporate profiles and earnings press releases and scripts. This includes becoming closely linked to management and understanding the company story and technology. Candidate should possess an in-depth understanding of Wall Street and financial markets in order to proactively communicate with all levels of investors. Position will also coordinate road shows, assist with conference preparation, guide the quarterly earnings process and conference calls which includes drafting and consulting on management scripts, monitor market perception of companies and respond to investor inquiries. Candidate must possess strong analytical, verbal and written communications skills while being detail-oriented and exhibiting excellent organizational skills. The ability to manage multiple projects/clients and meet deadlines is an essential part of the position. Should enjoy working within a fast-paced team environment, with the ability to manage and motivate internal staff, be proactive in identifying opportunities and making recommendations while being creative in approach. Sound judgment, good decision making abilities and some travel to financial centers is necessary. Must have proven ability to develop and sustain business relationships in addition to being polished and professional while interacting with high-level executives.

Should be self-motivated and demonstrate strong computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint a must. A bachelor's degree in related field in addition to 3-7+ years investor relations experience is required. Agency experience considered a strong plus.
