Account Manager-Business Developer

Global Project Services Team is the industry's first and most comprehensive

infrastructure devoted to the delivery, coordination and seamless

implementation of career management services for complex, multi-level

assignments. This team of experienced individuals works closely with local

client offices and client organizations to manage all aspects of a large,

complex consulting engagement. The position interfaces with senior level

management as well as with international management.  The client is an

outplacement firm.

 

Requirements:

 

·         Leadership. Effectively lead and manage people in a project based

matrix reporting structure. GPS project managers should be good people

managers, successfully directing the tasks that need to be completed on

time, on budget, accurately and with high quality in their design and

presentation. 

·         Relationship management. Ability to develop and maintain

professional dialog with key stakeholders within client organizations, and maintains

effective professional relationships with internal stakeholders.

·         Customer-facing credibility and image. Ability to develop credibility

quickly with project stakeholders/decision makers; possess a

professional/corporate image to represents the client appropriately.

·         Sales Mining. Consultative sales focused with the ability to

recognize and capitalize on hidden opportunities within current client

organizations.

·         Travel. Being there in person is critical to building credibility

and rapport with the client, and the ability to travel, even at last minute notice

is vital to participating in sales efforts, planning sessions, etc.  GPS

project managers should be available to travel 30-40% of their time.

·         Sales Support. GPS project managers are critical in closing sales to

key multinational clients. This typically means participating on a sales

presentation team, and being willing and able to communicate the key

differentiators that GPS brings to the organization. 

·         Solutions Development. GPS project managers need to have a high

understanding of the client service line, and be able to craft their practical

application to solve a client problem. 

·         Large Scale, Complex Scope Management. The GPS project manager is

the subject matter expert for all operational aspects of managing a large, complex

consulting engagement. The GPS project manager must take an active role in the

planning and implementation of the logistical requirements of the project,

delivery requirements and quality control. 

·         Deliverables Management. The quality and accuracy of deliverables

must be unsurpassed.  It is vital that these final documents, reports,

communications, staffing choice, etc; are all representative of best practices.

·         Flexibility. The day to day activities of the GPS project manager is

dictated by the assignment.  Once assigned to a project, the GPS project

manager is expected to do whatever it takes to get the job done and should be

viewed as part of the position rather than an exception.

·         Career Resource Centers. GPS project managers are the recognized

subject matter experts for everything associated with the setup and operation

of career resource centers across all lines of business.  Experience in this

area is a plus.

 

Qualifications:

 

            Undergraduate degree required, Post-graduate degree preferred.

            Two to three years of professional consulting experience in related

field (Change Management, Organizational Development, Human Resources)

            Three to five years of project management or related experience

            Formal platform presentation experience

            Demonstrated consultative sales experience

            Financial management and budgeting experience

            Excellent oral and written communications skills

            Excellent computer skills and Mastery of PowerPoint, Excel, Word,

Outlook. Experience with Visio, Access, MS Project.

    Bilingual Spanish a plus.

 

Salary: Min: $55,000    Mid: 68,000    Max: 81,000.00 plus benefits
