We build ASP.NET web-based applications to support our growing international client base as well as internal Windows client applications and batch processes in VB.NET. The Document Solutions Developer (DSD) designs, develops, tests, enhances and supports DataServ and client-specific applications. You'll be encouraged to discover, learn and apply new technologies to augment DataServ's solution capabilities.
Qualifications
Is an articulate communicator who comfortably communicates technical information with a variety of different teams.
Designs compelling user interfaces and understands the strengths and limitations of browser-based UIs.
Is team-oriented and works collaboratively to achieve team goals.
Strong programming skills with Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP.NET).
Visual Basic programming skills, including database programming and object oriented programming in VB.NET.
Ability to create functional and technical design specifications for software development efforts.
Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, and delivery.
Basic understanding of Internet technologies, such as TCP/IP, HTTP, XML, ASP, LDAP and SSL.
Basic JavaScript skills for mouseovers, cookies, and other web design tricks.
Basic Web development skills using HTML, DHTML and JavaScript.
BS or equivalent experience.
