Camsco is a growing,dynamic manufacturer of air monitoring consumables located in NW Houston.(Eldridge near 290) Privately held and founded in 1991, Camsco is uniquely positioned to capitalize on emerging thermal desorption applications in several diverse industries; both domestic and international. We are primarily focused on sorbent tubes used in environmental analysis, Industrial Hygiene,workplace safety and emissions monitoring. Camsco's reputation for quality and outstanding service has established loyal customers in many key markets. Camsco is creating a new position for a great chemist or industrial hygienist to help our clients and facilitate development of new products, services and business.  Applicants should have a background in chemistry and at least familiarity with environmental monitoring and gas chromatography including sampling and analysis. This position will work daily with all employees in our small business including the President. This position will be responsible for customer support, business development, product development and quality assurance.  Computer skills required for this position: Excel,Power Point, Word, Outlook.  The candidate must have a proven track record with more than 3-5+ years experience in relevant fields.  Requires demonstrated ability to effectively manage responsibilities of this magnitude.  Requires analytical, presentation and problem-solving skills and financial knowledge of an organization of this nature. Sales experience would be a big plus but isn’t necessary. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and dynamic with a passion to work for a company that values leadership, innovation, flexibility and an entrepreneurial spirit.

 

EducationMinimum of BS in Chemistry, Environmental Science or Industrial Hygiene. 



 

Benefits  Salary for this position will be based upon experience and capabilities.  Benefits package include medical, dental, paid vacation, holidays, personal days, 401K and a pleasant work environment.  There are significant opportunities for growth and a job well done is greatly appreciated.  The basic work schedule for this full-time salaried position is M-F 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. but will include some additional hours as required.
