The Software Engineer in New Product Development will be responsible for the design, implementation and development of client-facing user interfaces for multi-tiered web applications. Responsibilities include analysis, design and implementation of the user interface. You will also ensure that the user interface meets the requirements of the customers, evaluate the effectiveness of the user interface and propose recommendations to the cross functional team. This position remains involved throughout the Software Development Life Cycle to ensure that the user interface remains functional as changes are introduced by stakeholders or developers.

* Develop user interface using web technologies using web technologies such as XHTML, CSS, Javascript and AJAX.
* Implement these solutions in real-time production applications
* Contribute to the design and implementation of other features developed by the engineering team.
* Write design specifications, programming specifications, and documentation

* Proven development experience using web technologies such as XHTML, CSS, Javascript and AJAX is required.
* Strong portfolio of web design work
* Experience with UI design patterns is preferred.
* Experience with usability for a customer facing web application or dashboard will be a plus.
* Excellent coding, scripting and debugging skills
* Knowledge of web accessibility (508) requirements
* Strong communications skills
* Familiarity with the jQuery or Prototype Javascript library a plus
