Vault Recovery Feature Remastering Manager

CITY: Universal City STATE: CaliforniaCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):NBC Universal has created a newly formed Vault Recovery organization that will oversee all ongoing recovery tasks to minimize any business interruptions. The Vault Recovery organization will be used primarily to drive multiple title level research teams that will be responsible for: identifying lost elements to be replaced, researching the location of potential replacement elements, creating recovery orders for replacements elements. The Feature Remastering Manager will:Manage all aspects of the feature film re-mastering process including, film and audio element identification, telecine and post telecine processes, delivery of resultant video master elements and QC. Oversight of one or more feature remastering coordinators, schedulers and researchersWork with film and audio groups to understand availability of film and video elements and/or to create new elementsReport status of work in progress and due dates Budgeting and approval of all invoices and chargesQualifications/Requirements:Minimum five years of technical experience with all video formats, as well as understanding of film and audio elements Minimum 2 years managerial or oversight experience Eligibility Requirements:Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered (note job#: 840896).Willingness to travel (Add % of time if appropriate) and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice.Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA.Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation.Desired:Detailed-oriented Effectively manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required Proficiency in JDE software preferredProficiency in ScheduALL software preferredGeneral:NBC Universal is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies.
