Technical Maintenance Engineer

The Technical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, installation and repair of television broadcast systems, equipment and components for the network operations center located in Greenwood Village, Colorado.  The primary duties include analyzing and solving technical and operational problems and implementing solutions.  This position provides technical support for the NOC and works closely with the operations staff on system design and configuration. 

 

Requirements:

· Two years formal training in electronics and/or broadcast systems maintenance.

· Associates degree in electrical engineering, communications or technical equivalent.

· Two years experience with electronic component level repair.

· Two to five years experience repairing Sony broadcast Beta/IMX decks preferred.

· Technical proficiency in broadcast network or multi-channel cable system maintenance.

· Working knowledge of television signal measurement equipment for Phase Alternating Line (PAL) and National Television Standards Committee (NTSC) television standards, preferably serial digital video (SMPTE 259M).

· Ability to work independently under general supervision.

· Strong problem solving abilities.
