This job requires full time hours, located in El Segundo, CA.  Job Responsibilities:  Candidate will become a member of the test team. The test team is responsible for the testing of the Set Top Boxes. The position requires familiarity with digital electronics, analog electronics, RF, MPEG video compression, NTSC, ATSC, satellite communications, Internet data transmission protocols and consumer electronic manufacturing.  Experience in software automation testing is a plus and a strong understanding of the Digital Oscilloscope and Spectrum Analyzer is necessary.  Direct experience/knowledge with electrical component and circuit knowledge is required. Must have the ability to use different types of test equipment such as Oscilloscope, DVM, Power Meter and Amp Meter.   Ideal candidate must also have experience taking measurements and the ability to handle multiple projects and run with it. Requirements: *At least 1-2 years related experience, preferably in the consumer electronics industry.  * BS in Electrical Engineering or related field   * Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills *  Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment * Strong communication skills and a team player is highly desired * Must be willing to work extended hours if needed   This is a long term temporary/contract position through Ultimate Staffing.
