Sourcing Manager - Distribution & Telecom

CITY: New York STATE: New YorkCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):Manage the sourcing process for various areas including capital purchases and P&L through RFP, bidding, negotiation, award, implementation, and supplier performance monitoring Source distribution and telecom equipment and servicesPerform basic financial analysis on supplier proposals Mine spend data to identify cost savings opportunitiesExperience with electronic purchasing systems (SAP) Develop sourcing strategies for assigned commoditiesDevelop / maintain strong market and technical expertise in assigned buyDrive the identification and qualification of new sourcesLead and participate in Business Partner requirements ID processSeek out cost reduction opportunities and present to business partners Optimize the use of e-sourcing tools in the sourcing of all materialsIdentify opportunities to reduce manual task and continuously seek opportunities to digitizeQualifications/Requirements:BS/BA Degree Minimum three years sourcing experienceAbility to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and web based toolsEligibility Requirements:Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through nbcunicareers.com to be considered (note job#: 842514).
