Solutions Architect - Only The Best Will Do

Looking for a Super Star

Schematic creates some of the world’s most engaging, entertaining and effective digital destinations—and we are hiring.

Schematic delivers strategic design and technology solutions that are beautifully simple yet impressively powerful. We believe that creating digital destinations that people actually want to engage with is the best way to help our clients forge meaningful, profitable and lasting relationships with their customers.

Our teams work across all the digital platforms people use every day, including PCs, televisions, and mobile devices. Many times, the work we do blurs the lines between those platforms and others, so we are always open to exploring new technologies and techniques.

Currently, we have a tremendous opportunity for a Solutions Architect. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for the implementation of software solutions, from requirements gathering through architecture, development, testing, tuning, deployment and maintenance.   Additionally, the Solutions Architect acts as the liaison between Technology and Design and User Experience departments to evaluate feature and design feasibility.

We work with some of the strongest branded companies in the world; Microsoft, ABC.com, Nokia, NBC, and EA just to name a few. The projects that we accept are highly dynamic; the successful Solutions Architect must be able to work well in a collaborative, matrix environment, where he/she may be assigned to multiple projects.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience skillfully leading enterprise-level technical projects from initial discovery to completion. You will need to have strong technical project management skills. You should be familiar with various project management methodologies, especially Waterfall and Agile. Prior experience in a role that works with external clients, vendors and technical/creative/user experience teams a must.

To be successful, you will need to have superior knowledge of UML diagrams. Strong understanding and developer experience with PHP, Java, .NET, C#, MYSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, HTML, Javascript, AJAX, Flash, and Flex is essential.

Go ahead and apply if you love technology and enjoy working in a project driven environment. Brilliant people will surround you with a work-hard/play-hard mentality. Schematic offers more than just a job; we provide you an opportunity to create lifework!

Schematic offers a highly competitive compensation/benefits package. Schematic is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
