We are seeking an energetic person to join our Facilities Team as a Site Hardware Coordinator.

 

Responsibilities:Evaluate incoming site hardware and route to appropriate storage or processing area.Perform basic testing of electronic equipment to identify potential for redeployment.Perform staging of defective equipment for scrap disposal.  Utilize Platinum inventory system and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to record scrap disposal quantities and serial numbers.Assist Warehouse Manager with coordination of scrap disposal approvals and pickups.Act as backup support for Packing, Shipping & Receiving stations.Participate in weekly cycle counts and yearly physical inventory counts.  Operate all types of material handling equipment including forklift, hand trucks, platform carts, banding machines, etc.Assist with product stocking as required.Perform processing of mail via postage meter computer.

 

The Bottom Line: This position must maintain good state of order in the packing area and assist with upkeep of common warehouse areas.  As needed they will support other tasks in the Warehouse, Tech Shop and Facilities operations.

 

Education/Training and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent experience.Must have a valid California Driver’s license2 years or more of experience in a warehouse environment.Should have fundamental knowledge of warehouse and shipping procedures.Basic computer skills are required, knowledge of Excel is a must

 

But Wait, There’s More: You must be able to maintain proper work safety standards and have sufficient manual dexterity to operate all types of material handling equipment (forklift, hand truck, platform carts, etc) as needed.  Additionally you should be able to routinely carry, push reach and lift up to 70 lbs. Must be able to uphold and comply with all Company, Safety, Heath and Environmental policies.
