Senior Analyst

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Senior Analyst for the Financial Reporting and Budgeting department. Position participates in various elements of the following consolidation and reporting activities: Reviews and analyzes assigned P&L accounts. Performs variance analysis and addresses senior management queries. Prepares, reviews and reconciles various management/Time Warner reports (i.e. Time Warner Package, Footnotes, Black Book, etc.). Evaluation of the quality and accuracy of submitted financial data, including issue resolution, if necessary. Resolution of business unit queries regarding process and treatment. Assist in preparation of quarterly deliverables to Time Warner (i.e. MD&A, Khalix submission, etc.). Participates in various elements of legal entity/third party reporting : Prepares, coordinates and reviews government surveys and information requests received from outside parties. Assist with legal entity reporting to Time Warner. Preparation of Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. annual report with full footnotes. Participates in various elements of the following planning activities: Preparation and analysis of monthly and annual long term plan P&L projections. Analysis and presentation of business unit and corporate overhead budgets. Other special Projects as required.

Requirements
B.A./B.S. degree required. CPA and/or MBA preferred. Minimum 3 years prior experience. Experience in public accounting in addition to private industry preferred. Entertainment industry expertise helpful, budgeting and planning experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statement preparation. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems required (SAP experience preferred). Must be able to interact with upper management with clear and concise communications. Strong analytical skills required. Competent in preparing presentation quality documents and executive level summaries. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Warner Bros.
