Subscribers enjoy access to over 265 channels of 100% digital picture and sound, exclusive programming, industry-leading customer satisfaction (which has surpassed cable for seven years running) and superior technologies that include advanced DVR and HD-DVR service and the most state-of-the-art interactive sport packages anywhere.   Responsible for developing and editing schedules for Traffic/Scheduling, Automation, Conditional Access, Program Guide and Subscriber Management Systems for DIRECTV Latin America and SKY-Mexico. Specific duties include developing Weekly Schedules, BOC Mappings, Seasonal Calendars, Event Planning Forms, Edit Decision Lists, Service Change Notifications and Black-out Requests as well as researching, translating and entering programming titles and descriptions into the Traffic/PADB System. Will enter contractual, technical and scheduling information into the Traffic/PADB System, transfer scheduling information to the Automation, Conditional Access, Subscriber Management and Program Guide Systems, receive schedules from the Listing Service Systems, generate Program/Continuity IDs and coordinate Black-outs. In addition, will partner with and communicate regularly with Broadcast Centers, Program Providers and Marketing Staffs in the U.S. and multiple Latin America Countries.  Ideal candidate would have experience in a broadcast operations environment. Must possess a strong background in and significant experience working with database systems (Oracle preferred) in a Microsoft Windows environment.  In addition, bilingual preferred (English-Spanish) verbal and written communication skills Problem solving skills Strong organizational abilities and excellent attention to detail. Ability to work under limited supervision and under deadlines. Must be flexible in shifts and able to work weekends and/or holidays. This is a temporary position through Ultimate Staffing.
