OVERALL SUMMARY
Technical buyer working in a production and broadcast environment to provide procurement support for HBO Studio & Broadcast Operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Procurement of equipment, supplies and services necessary to support Operations, Engineering and Administration for the production and transmission of all HBO and Cinemax networks.
* Maintenance of supplier relationships and coordination of support for equipment for Engineering inclusive of tracking vendor activity and expedition of all products and services and supplier performance feedback.
* Sourcing of products and services through HBO and TW channels and competitive bidding under corporate guidelines.
* Procurement systems training for requestors and coordination for registration of new users through corporate services department.
* Collection of end-user data for agreement-based purchases for presentation to business/legal liaison for review and legal draft as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
* Have an Associate's degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Have proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Be a highly-motivated, team player with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Have strong budgetary and financial skills.
* Work occasional overtime.
