Your tasks
Responsible For The Accuracy And Completeness Of All Full-Length Albums, DVDs And Singles Packaging Components (Both Art And Text) For All Columbia Records Releases. Liaison With Label Personnel (Especially Marketing And A&R) To Ensure Accurate Information Is Provided And Correctly Represented On All Packaging Components. Review And Proofread All Packaging Through All Stages Of Development (Including Initial Laser Printouts, Mechanicals And Final Color Proofs) And Then Coordinate All Revisions With Label Copy Staff And Creative Services To Ensure That All Changes Are Made And Completed By The Scheduled Deadlines. Coordinate With Business Affairs And The Legal Department To Ensure That All Legally Required Text And/Or Logos Are Included And That No Trademarked Art Or Copy Is Used On Packaging Components. Represent The Label Along With Release Planning Staff At Weekly Production Meetings.
Our requirements
College Degree, 2-3 Years Proofreading Preferred. Must Be Able to Handle a Fast Paced, High Pressure Environment. Extensive Overtime Required.
Proofreading test will be given by Human Resources prior to interview.
