The ideal candidate is positive, energetic and results oriented, with a technical degree in related field or sufficient training and experience to perform the essential functions of the position.  Two (2) years experience with RF and/or microwave repair and maintenance.  Experience with various phases of production, test and assembly. 

Job Duties:Aligns and tunes power amplifiers, driver circuits, up-converters, down converters, baseband analog and digital circuits. Tests, troubleshoots, aligns, repairs and integrates microwave transmitters and receivers. Diagnoses potential causes of microwave equipment malfunctions using knowledge of equipment and/or technical drawings. Troubleshoots malfunctions related to microwave equipment and proposes solutions or modifications to avoid future failures. Performs repairs to equipment when necessary. Implements product improvements required to meet customer requirements. Uses test equipment including but not limited to Spectrum Analyzer, RF Power Meter, Network Analyzer, RF Signal Generator, Audio Signal Generator and Oscilloscope. Responsible for the test, troubleshooting, alignment, integration and repair of microwave transmitters and receivers and associated equipment (pointer poles, hubs, heli-racks, etc.) Maintenance of existing equipment and manufacture of new devices for equipment for providing wireless video and audio for live television broadcasts.

Requirements:Minimum two years experience with RF and/or microwave repair and maintenance Experience with various phases of production, test and assembly  Ability to read schematics and assembly drawings Familiar with OP-AMPS, RF filters, RF amps, TCXO’s, VCO’s, transmission lines, antennas and PLL circuits. Computer literacy to include programming of modules, and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Prefer experience with high frequency devices above 1.0 GHz.
