Business Wire, the global leader in news dissemination, seeks a Marketing Specialist, based out of our Los Angeles (West LA area) bureau. Familiarity with Business Wire's industry (services industry for public relations and investor relations) is a plus.

The candidate should have at least two years experience in marketing and public relations, excel in a fast-paced business-to-business environment and contribute creative ideas and execute marketing programs on deadline. The position assists in a wide range of marketing projects including advertising, public relations, copywriting and event planning. We are a small marketing team located in cities around the globe, so the responsibilities of this position range from creative to administrative.

Applicants should detail their qualifications in these areas:

-copywriting for ads, websites and/or collaterals

-public relations outreach to business-to-business, online and/or consumer media

-social media marketing, including participation/interaction with blogs and services like twitter

-online advertising -ad word planning, budgeting
