Bachelors Degree in Communications, Marketing, English or related field of study.

Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; thorough working knowledge of broadcast production; aggressive and innovative thinker who can implement strategic marketing plans; must have non-linear editing experience (preferably on Final Cut-Pro or Avid Media Composer); AfterEffects and Photoshop proficiency a plus; strong problem solving abilities; high work ethics and standards; ability to meet deadlines and detail orientation; computer proficiency.

Experience:
Minimum two years producing/editing experience at a commercial television station required; two to three years writing, producing and editing promotion at a commercial television station preferred.

Duties:
Write, produce and edit compelling on-air marketing and promotion material for news, programming, commercials and special projects; topical promotion of newscasts; develop, organize and coordinate direct marketing events and station projects; respond to viewers’ questions or needs by phone or in writing; on-location productions; other duties as assigned by manager.Â
