Marketing Director for Children's Media Property - KIDZ BOP

Fast-growing children’s entertainment property seeks an experienced marketing professional to join our team. Candidates should be highly-motivated and creative, with established contacts. Reports to the Vice President of Marketing for KIDZ BOP and key team member in brainstorming, strategy, creative decision-making, and timely execution of projects and programs. Responsible for all platforms of brand including consumer products, live events, website, brand extensions, licensees and more. Exciting opportunity for a self-starter who has lots of ideas and is up for anything.

 

Responsibilities include:

-Maintain goal-oriented vision in fast-paced, ever-changing environment

-Product management of consumer products (audio/video)

-Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs, which are highly ROI-focused

-Research and pursue potential partnerships (sponsors, barters, etc.); cold calls a must

-Initiate and assist in execution of all marketing initiatives (both on- and off-line)

-Manage internal and third party email marketing efforts (list barters/rentals/purchases)

-Coordinate with creative and development teams on special marketing programs (contests, sweeps, events); fulfill partnership/sponsorship deliverables

-Develop added value programs for potential and existing advertisers and sponsors

-Create successful lead generation efforts to build consumer database

-Source and manage appropriate vendors

 

Requirements:

-Minimum 7 years marketing experience responsible for both strategy and execution

-Exceptional history of developing and implementing marketing strategies that have met or exceeded goals

-Excellent project management skills

-Strong communication, copywriting and interpersonal skills

-Ability to cultivate and leverage relationships within and outside the company

-Must be creative, organized and detail-oriented

-Proficient in creating presentation materials and marketing assets

- Children’s entertainment experience preferred but not required

-Experience working with partners in other industries (toy, automotive, CPG, QSR, etc.)
