Manager, Television Servicing

CITY: Universal City STATE: CaliforniaCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):The Manager, TV Servicing position at NBC Universal will play a primary role in providing oversight for all aspects of TV Distribution orders including research, scheduling, element production and issue resolution. Additional Responsibilities are included below. The Responsibilities of the Manager, TV Servicing Position include (and are not limited to): Managing approximately nine Schedulers covering free tv, pay tv, ppv, hotels and submastering. Working with Director - Distribution Services to establish policy/procedure and implementation Training staff in the IT application, JDE; including element research, changing/updating data records, work order creation and reporting. Providing oversight for training and use of IT application, ScheduAll. Resolution of all rejection se/issues providing cost estimates to clients Updating and approving Scheduler's hours using Timekeeper Providing oversight for creation of UTG Promo Reels, customer service, and issue resolution Establishing, maintaining and furthering communication Researching incorrect billing for Pay TV clients Working with Accounting on resolving invoice discrepancies Tracking and maintaining departmental metrics as directed Reporting metrics to TV Distribution as directedQualifications/Requirements:Basic Qualifications: Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required A mimimum of three years in video post production required; including knowledge of both HD and SD videotape formats, aspect ratios, and standards.A minimum of two years Managerial experience required.Eligibility Requirements:Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through nbcunicareers.com to be considered (note job#: 838952).
