The position acts as an integral member of the field sales team who uses retail and market analytics to derive fact based sales recommendations and solutions to further PHE and its distributed line?s consumer sales revenues. Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:*Continually monitors sales trends compared to plans for all assigned accounts and classes of trade communicating call to action items as they surface via weekly sales updates and conference calls *Working with Sales Forecasting, develops forecasts for all New Releases based on comparable title and/or Theatrical Box Office indicators*Generates sales plans for PHE product at the Market, Retailer, and Store level*Prepares PHE and partner title forecasts at the retail level*Responsible for assembling and disseminating Annual Budgets for Accounts by Title by Quarter*Reconciles and reports monthly actuals to plan, providing explanations of figures*Formulates efficient sales monitoring and planning procedures through research and analyses*Standardizes reporting across all accounts and channels*Assists the sales team with identifying additional sales opportunities and creating promotions to maximize those opportunities to meet or exceed business plan*Processes and distributes sales performance reports on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly basis providing commentary on results and highlighting call to action items for field sales and retail*Responsible for communicating class of trade performance metrics to assigned sales team/teams highlighting relevant information on PHE performance as well as competitive movement in the marketplace*Responsible for all Quarterly Retail Business Reviews *Performs on-going reporting and analytical projects of varying nature as required*Limited Travel to National and/or Regional Sales Meetings, Retailer MeetingsQualifications:Basic qualifications:*Minimum three years of category management, sales planning demand forecasting, field sales, or retail marketing experience in the Entertainment or Consumer Packaged Goods Industry required*Proficient with varied syndicated data sources/systems such as AC Nielsen or MRI is required*Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint are a must*Proficiency in Microstrategies, Cognos as well as SAP with an expectation of some work within several internal and external proprietary data systems (EVMI V5, Retail Link, Info Retriever, Work Bench, etc.) *Bachelors Degree required with Masters Degree preferred in Marketing, Finance, Statistics or related field Desired skills:*Highly organized and detailed oriented*Ability to multi-task and handle heavy workload in a faced-paced, deadline-oriented environment*Demonstrate highly developed analytical and mathematical skills to understand complex data *Excellent written and verbal communication skills*Work in a cross functional, team environment*Ability to process and summarize large amounts of data into concise and meaningful reports and/or presentations in a timely manner that will be presented to a variety of audiences*Customer service oriented and have ability to anticipate needs/demand of field sales and management as conditions change*Experience with demographics/research databases and/or database marketing sales is desired*Experience in designing and implementing custom reports, statistical models and analytical tools using multiple data sources a plusEligibility requirements:* Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered * Must be willing to submit to a background investigation* Must be able to show eligibility to work in the United StatesParamount Pictures is an Equal Opportunity EmployerSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Hollywood, CAJob Number: 5422Company URL: http://www.paramount.com/careers
