Manager, Interactive Ad Operations Analyst

Our services also include an automated toll free traffic hotline, SMS text traffic updates as well as a mobile Web (WAP) site. NAVTEQ customers include broadcast media, interactive, portable navigation, data services businesses and government agencies, and solutions are delivered via radio, television, Web, wireless device, and in-vehicle navigation systems. Our real-time traffic information enhances our client’s Web sites and mobile applications with solutions that respond to the rising frustrations with traffic in metropolitan areas. Our unique multi-platform distribution network creates unique, powerful branding opportunities for advertisers, enabling them to expand their reach and target consumers with useful, relevant content multiple times per day. NAVTEQ content is advertising supported so it’s completely free to consumers. We are currently looking for an Manager, Interactive Advertising Operations in Wayne, PA. Summary: The Manager of Interactive Advertising Operations will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Ad Operations department including developing and implementing workflow processes and organizational structure, overseeing internal and external relationship management, and strategic planning with cross-functional company teams. REPORTS TO: Director Inventory Management Principal Duties: Supervise the day-to-day Interactive Traffic Team personnel, workflow, processes, campaigns, troubleshooting and quality assurance Mentoring, coaching, encouraging professional maturity, and developing career objectives for Team members to create a world-class advertising operations team Implement accountability and process in inventory management, including work flow procedures, performance tracking, team metrics, etc. Perform annual evaluations on individual performance Recommend process improvements for implementation of campaigns from start to finish including avails, reservations, orders and reporting Promote cooperation between peers and other departments Provide reporting to customers with regards to advertising operations Ability to troubleshoot complex ad serving issues Analyze processes and make recommendations to improve efficiencies Ensure timely and situation appropriate correspondence regarding both internal and external issue resolution Document policies, procedures and goals while building a historical database for future resolutions Work with the various departments for strategic planning for future growth, including Business Development, Engineering, Sales and Client Services Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors on an operational basis Ensure immediate and direct feedback to internal constituents regarding campaign or system issues Support sales to address client issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner Provide accurate reporting of inventory states and levels to management, account executives and sales management. Job Specification: Minimum Bachelor's degree in related field; Business Management/Marketing 3 plus years of experience managing an interactive advertising operations team 2 years experience with an ad serving application. Experience with Atlas AdManager a plus. Experience growing a media traffic organization Ability to effectively operate within a fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment Ability to effectively influence and communicate with all levels of management Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Experience working with 3rd & 4th party ad serving applications and reporting through the applications is required (DFA, DFP, DART, MAPPS, MediaPlex, Eyeblaster, Unicast preferred) Proficient knowledge of HTML and Javascript for technical troubleshooting Proven proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
