We are seeking a Manager, Data and Packaging for our Burbank, CA facility.Responsibilities/Qualifications:• Would be responsible for interfacing with new vendors to document and implement their metadata specifications within metadata management system.• Tracking any changes to existing metadata standards within management system.• Work with development team to implement new vendors as needed.• Past experience working with XML files for distribution; understanding wildcard characters, validations and DTD’s.• Understanding of UTF and ISO standards and effects within XML’s based on regions.• Track and prioritize bugs and feature enhancements with in metadata management system.• Document all packaging workflows and train staff accordingly.• Must effectively analyze information coming from multiple sources and communicate it in a concise manner to resolve issues and concerns as they arise.• Manage metadata operators, assigning and prioritizing jobs on a daily bases.• Troubleshooting failed submissions of metadata, working with vendors and clients to resolve issues. • Works with other groups within operations to handle high priority deadlines and manage problems and concerns accordingly.• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy is a MUST.Job Requirements:• Superior ability to interact in a clear and logical manner.
