Human Resources Manager/Director

Job Purpose:Since Broadcast Pix is rapidly growing, a major focus of the new Human Resource Manager position will be on recruiting and hiring new employees.  The Human Resources Manager position also includes enhancing the organization's human resources by planning,implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies,programs, and practices. 

Broadcast Pix is a rapidly growing, profitable, professional video equipment manufacturer with over 800 customer installations in over 50 countries.  Broadcast Pix is the leader in integrated live video production systems that create compelling live video at a fraction of the cost of traditional video production systems. Installations include television broadcasting, Internet broadcasting, education, training, events,and other video production applications. Customers include CBS, NBC, ESPN, Microsoft, Cisco, HP and many companies, towns, schools, churches and other live video applications.  For more on Broadcast Pix see www.broadcastpix.com Duties:* Help managers recruit employees for new positions in the company, including positions in marketing, engineering, sales, support, finance and operations. This includes positions from entry level to vice president. Post jobs on the web, screen candidates, and in some cases retain and manage search firms.

* Establish human resource policies and processes, including job descriptions, compensation reviews, vacation policies, planned staffing, etc.* Help train managers to coach employees; and also hear and resolve employee concerns* Maintain employee benefits programs, with the assistance of the finance department.* Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; * Contribute to team effort Skills/Qualifications:Strong background in recruiting and hiring is required. Some exposure to other Human Resource areas is also needed.
