General Accounting Manager

General Accounting Manager Requirements:

  Understands the statutory requirements stated within GAAP requirements to create and post transactions in preparation of Financial Statements Working knowledge of SAB 101 and 104 for revenue recognition Ability to handle proficiently all aspects of accounting Billing, A/R, A/P, F/A, PO’s Etc.  Preparing, processing and posting payroll timely, understanding tax reporting and statutory filing requirements Systems experience; high level of Excel proficiency required, varied background with multiple financial software systems (QuickBooks required) Preparation of project related costs and project forward the cash requirements for each. Ability to define and develop billing processes in support of project related activities, recurring services by location and content Clear understanding and ability to implement a reporting system that complies with content licensing reporting requirements, GAAP expense recognition and execute payments timely to licensors.  Acute ability to perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations and present accurately the working capital and owners equity Experience with preparing lead schedules in support of externally performed annual audit Broad breath of experience in supporting varying business disciplines (Sales, Marketing, Operations, R&D, Etc.) Self directed and motivated personality expressing a willingness to accept and own multiple tasks and character to excel under time constraints within a fast paced environment Prepare and file all government reporting for manufacturing, census, etc. 3 – 5 years General Ledger Account Closing Experience BS in Accounting required, CPA a benefit
