Entry Level Software Developer (Java)

Permanent position in Burbank CA area!!

Salary: $45,000 to $65,000

This role is ideal for someone that is seeking a stable position in a cutting edge company. This company fosters talented resources that have a few years of IT experience or have recently graduated college. Resources that have developed Java applications as an intern or in college courses qualify for this role.

The Software Developer will be trained on how to develop new software using industry best practices. These applications are not boring finance or insurance applications!!! These systems are part of a technology movement that is already becoming a household name.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop Java based applications. Determine new solutions for a growing software product line. Work closely with the testing team to insure the integrity of the applications. Perform software builds and releases. Verify source code control of releases. Develop feature areas in collaboration with software engineers. Contribute to feature planning and development.

Qualifications

Â· 1+ years experience in Java software development.

Â· Experience developing Object Oriented applications from scratch. (Class experience is sufficient.)

Â· Java and Unix based application testing ( JUnit testing tool preferred ) Very detailed and task oriented Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of software development, testing, and release processes. Knowledge of video and audio processing in Windows XP OS a plus.
