Electrical Engineer sought by Electro-Harmonix
Electro-Harmonix is looking for an electrical engineer to work with our team in Long Island City, Queens, New York.Electro-Harmonix is an internationally recognized leader in electronics for musical instruments, especially electric guitar. Our engineers create and build the effects that the world's top rock musicians rely on for their unique sounds. We are searching for an additional electrical engineer.Job Description:A large proportion of the position's duties will involve PCB design using an electronic CAD package as well as assembling, testing and debugging PCBs designed by yourself and other designers. Other duties include some analog and digital circuit design, communicating with overseas vendors and electronic component research and testing. Being able to play a musical instrument, particularly electric guitar, is a requirement. We are looking for an engineer that has at least a basic background in music electronics and/or effects pedals.Skills in order of importance:PCB Layout and DesignPCB and Circuit Debugging and problem solvingAnalog/Digital Circuit DesignMusical Instrument Background required
