United Media, one of the largest licensing agencies in the world, is seeking a Director of Business Development to handle online + mobile partnership/distribution efforts for its soon-to-relaunch online + mobile comic properties: Dilbert.com, Comics.com and Snoopy.com. Reporting directly to the VP/General Manager of the Web, the position requires an experienced Business Development professional capable of identifying, negotiating and closing relationships with appropriate content partners.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:Collaborate with VP/General Manager of the Web to develop distribution, partnership, monetization and marketing strategies for United Media’s intellectual property within the web and mobile spaceIdentify, solicit, develop and implement revenue-generating programs for distribution prospects and partners; manage and strengthen partner relationshipsCollaborate on the evolution of Untied Media’s web and mobile properties

 

Minimum Qualifications:BA, or equivalent years experience – see below5 – 7 years direct Internet experience, 3+ years interactive business development experienceExtensive knowledge of online partnership structures and web advertising programsProven ability to collaborate with web Sales and Production staff

 

Preferred Experience:Management of high-level, revenue-generating interactive partnerships (particularly in the consumer media space)Strong understanding of emerging technologies in the web and mobile space
