CITY: New York STATE: New YorkCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):Reporting to the VP Brand Strategy/Creative Director, the Director, Print Production will manage production and workflow of all network print projects, manage staff and freelance studio designers and act as point person for internal project requests and external print vendors.Project management of all printed and digital work in Creative Services, including workflow and deadline managementDirectly supervise Production CoordinatorLiaison between Print, Digital, Online and On-Air departments ensuring everyone is working from most up to date files and informationManage production design and give feedback to studio artistsHire and manage all production design staff and freelancersHire and manage all copywritersEnsure all printed pieces adhere to campaign and network standardsLiaison with internal clients (PR, Consumer, Affiliate and Ad Sales Marketing) making sure all requested projects are delivered on time and budgetManage project workflow from request to delivery including interdepartmental approvalsDevelop and track print budgets and production calendarsMaintain print and merchandise archivesInvestigate and recruit printers and other creative resourcesQualifications/Requirements:Minimum 4 years theatrical, network or cable television marketing experience in print production, administration, account management, and creative servicesMust have scheduling/trafficking production experienceMust be Mac literate and proficient in MS Word, Excel, Quark Express, Adobe In DesignEligibility Requirements:Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through nbcunicareers.com to be considered (note job#: 846952).
