DIGITAL MEDIA PRODUCER—NEW YORKPOSITION SUMMARYProducer will assist Site Directors in the creation and management of online content for aetv.com. Will oversee day-to-day maintenance and production of content, and will assume responsibility for general management of specific site areas.Action: Responsible for production development and maintenance. Work closely with constituents in New York design team on creatives. REQUIREMENTSWorks with programming, marketing, and Ad operations; identifies target audience and project scope; works within a budget set forth by Site Directors per project; conceives and creates web site feature concepts, map site flow and information architecture; specifies site functionality and define the user experience; gather text, image and multimedia assets; identifies all site maintenance requirements prior to build; updates. Works with outside vendor to update and maintain site. Includes any/all changes to every site page for website, including all major and minor re-designs, site functionality, content, and monthly, weekly, and daily maintenanceWorks within established process to submit changes, corrections, new content; makes this process as efficient as possible; QAs all new or amended contentWorks with web production and publishing tools to update content; has a working knowledge of image editing software to save, resize and/or optimize web graphicsLiaison with other AETN departments to integrate programming, marketing and advertising initiatives and to convey current tune-in message to online visitors; and monitors visitor feedback.Meets regularly with AETN staff to plan and produce integrated content; provide added value content to enhance and extend the viewing experienceParticipates in long term strategic planningPresents new ideas for content and methods for attracting younger viewers to our television networksQUALIFICATIONSBA, in English, Media or CommunicationsStrong Internet usage skillsOrganizational skillsEditorial and writing experience, particularly with imagesUnderstanding of web publishing process3+ years work experience, including 2 years online work experienceWe are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.Bckgrnd ~ Digital Media
