Creative Copywriter

Job summary

We are KWIZ Radio (96.7 FM “La Rockolaâ€�), a Liberman Broadcasting, Inc. (“LBIâ€�) owned and operated Spanish radio station, and we're looking for a great Spanish Language copywriter to join our team.  We want to talk with you if you have the necessary skills to write creative promotional materials for our radio station.  LBI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  The station is located in Santa Ana, California.

Summary of essential job functions

The Creative Copywriter will be responsible for the delivery of effective marketing and promotional materials through creative writing and editing.  The Creative Copywriter position requires a conceptual and creative thinker who will aid in the development of marketing campaings and promotions.  The work includes, but is not limited to, writing copy for advertisements in a variety of media, including Radio, TV, outdoor, print ads and collateral material.  The Creative Copywriter will be responsible for the editing and proofreading of written communications for clarity, content, accuracy, and concept development.

 

Minimum requirements

 

The successful candidate must possess exceptional written and grammer communication skills in Spanish.  Understanding of the Regional Mexican Market is a plus.  They must be self-motivated and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. All employees are expected to bring a positive attitude to the work place and be cheerful, cooperative and productive.  In addition, the right candidate must have:High school graduate; some college preferred.  2 to 5 years prior experience as a Spanish language copywritter preferred.Must also have basic knowledge of MS office products, i.e., MS Word and Windows environment. Ability to lift over 20lbs.
