Position Description:

FOX Group Legal seeks an exceptional mid-level attorney to join its Content Protection Department. In this role, you will manage the significant legal issues that arise in connection with protecting Fox's film and television content from infringement and piracy on the internet. You will formulate and implement our worldwide, proactive, dynamic legal strategy against businesses that profit from infringement, including target selection, investigations, and managing legal actions including litigation. You will also communicate with senior marketing and business executives; manage relationships with outside vendors that provide litigation support services; and provide internal copyright and anti-piracy advice. You will be part of the team that provides the offense and defense against unauthorized use of Fox's creative content worldwide, and that advises on content protection policies throughout the company, including Fox's film, television, and interactive divisions. The successful candidate will have impeccable judgment and excellent oral and written communication skills. He or she works well in teams, enjoys a fast-pasted work environment, can prioritize and multi-task, and is a self-starter who manages projects through completion without extensive supervision. We are seeking a successful top-tier law school graduate with at least 2-4 years experience at a top firm. The candidate must have a substantive background in copyright law and an interest in protecting intellectual property in light of the challenges and opportunities of the digital age. Facility with the Internet and other emerging technologies is required. Studio experience and international experience are preferred. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, and California Bar admission (existing or planned) are required.
