Your tasks
Maintain web presence for Sony BMG Commercial Music Group artists, promotions and labels. Merchandise label sites and traffic digital assets
Help oversee strategy, execution and content creation for all internally-controlled web sites, mobile offerings and other digital initiatives
Post news, bios, photos, tour dates and other timely information to web properties
Coordinate the creation of digital assets with product/marketing/artist managers and creative team
Enable artists and managers to maintain and syndicate content including news, tours, blogs, and galleries
Ensure quality of all posted information and troubleshoot issues with all digital properties (websites, ecards, widgets, social networking profiles, music players, etc.)
Develop and maintain relationships with third party vendors and familiarize developers with our technical environment and content tools
Evaluate web analytics and create reports outlining weekly site traffic and trends. Collect statistics and report on web initiatives. Leverage other tools to gather intelligence


Our requirements
Candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized and work well in a team environment.
Candidate must possess excellent relationship management and communication skills
Candidate must be proficient in HTML, CSS & Photoshop
Candidate should be able to adapt and modify content strategies based on results
Candidate must have familiarity with:
Web 2.0
Design
Usability
Analytics reporting (Web Trends and Google Analytics)
Content management systems
Social networks (MySpace, Facebook)

Bachelors Degree preferred.
2-5 years new media experience, marketing preferred
