CNN NY - Broadcast Maintenance Engineering
CNN’s NY headquarters, located in midtown, is seeking a talented team-based Broadcast Maintenance Engineer for a FT career opportunity. The position requires the ability to work shifts, weekends and holidays while supporting 24x7x365 news and production systems.
This hands-on position requiring the demonstrated ability to perform repairs and calibration on equipment and systems for newsgathering, production, and desktop.
Component-level technical knowledge of switchers, routers, nonlinear edit systems, studio camera systems, robotic pedestals, IP-based servers, audio boards and matrices, RTS intercom, desktop PC repair, fiber transport systems, field cameras, VCRs, monitors, wireless and wired microphones and intercom belt packs.
Demonstrated expertise in analyzing and solving complex technical problems.
