Bilingual IT Platform Support Technician
1. Organizational Information

2. Position Summary
Title: Bilingual IT Platform Support Technician
Reports to: Manager, IT Platform
Location: Sunrise, FL 33323
Schedule: 9am – 6pm
Status: Non-Exempt
Administrate local Information Technology platform; Assistance and support to Information Technology Users; Implementation of Information Technology solutions; Coordinate Information Technology acquisition logistics.
Locations for which platform and user remote support might be required: Sunrise, Coral Gables, Brickell and Regional Offices: Mexico, Brazil and Argentina
3. Principle Responsibilities (List 4 to 8 of the most important activities performed or accountable for)
1. Provides quality assistance and support to Information Technology end users. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical and functional problems to end users platform (Office Systems). Maintain statistics on end user support.
2. Installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots end users IT platform according to Corporate standard.
3. Installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots servers platform including hardware, operating systems, database management systems, service applications, utilities, etc., following corporate standards.
4. Installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots business applications and services in conjunction with corporate IT Business application staff.
5. Installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots LAN/WAN networking equipment; including switches, routers, access servers, firewalls
6. Administrate local Information Technology platform security and contingency procedures including: backup and recovery, information integrity and security, functional and physical security, virus protection.
7. Conduct technical evaluations, develop recommendations and coordinate the process of delivery, preparation, and implementation of new IT solutions (equipment, software and services, including servers, workstations, and networking.
8. Participate in the implementation of Corporate Information Technology projects.
Principle responsibilities are those most important or most frequently performed duties. The incumbent will perform other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma coupled with technical courses/
certifications or AS degree in Technology
2. Work Experience
2-5 years IT technical support experience
3. Knowledge
Advanced Network administration skills
Advanced NT Administration skills
Advanced Exchange & IIS Administration skills
Intermediate hardware and Microsoft applications exp.
4. Language
Bilingual English/Spanish
Desirable Requirements:
1. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
2. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
3. Oracle Basic Administration
4. IBM AS/400 Operation and Administration
5. Trilingual English/Spanish/Portuguese

9. Availability to work from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, as well as overtime during the weekday and on weekends when necessary.
