World Wide Senior Analyst: GLC Supplier Quality Management - (Job Number: 0810228) DescriptionEthicon, Inc., a member of Johnson && Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a WW Senior Analyst: Global Logistic Center, Supplier Quality Management, located in Guaynabo, PR. Ethicon, Inc. develops and markets products for surgery; wound management and advanced wound care treatment. Products are marketed through three divisions: Ethicon Products for precise wound closure and tissue repair; Ethicon Women's Health && Urology for minimally invasive women's health procedures; and Johnson && Johnson Wound Management for homostasis and advanced wound care. The WW Senior Analyst: GLC Supplier Quality Management will develop, manage and maintain Supplier Quality Management Metrics to enable proactive metric driven management of the Quality Supplier relationships and GLC purchasing controls processes commensurate with the risk to ETHICON product safety and efficacy. Utilize analytical and problem solving skills to develop and optimize supplier performance working in conjunction with the WWSQM Team. Develop and utilize Leading Indicators to ensure timely identification of risk/business challenges and opportunities. This candidate will analyze quality data and identifies trends impacting risk benefits requirements of product and quality systems for external suppliers. Collaborate with operations on process/product improvement projects. Provide recommendations or proposed changes based on data analysis. Partner proactively with the various scorecard holders for the definition and refinement of metric categories and the electronic integration of the data sources. Understands the key consumers and suppliers of the business, the products and how one's own performance can ultimately impact the customer. Will prepare Quality Agreements at the direction of the Manager. Assist in the maintenance of the supplier quality relationship (follow-up of corrective actions, coding for metrics, etc.) Takes actions to identify internal customer requirements and translates customer requirements into data reports with appropriate importance and prioritization. Proactively pursues clarification to confirm understanding of internal customer needs and requirements. Follows up on commitments and keeps customer, management, and appropriate parties apprised. Responds proactively to changing regulatory and business needs. Compiles and recommends data driven conclusions for Management Review. The minimum of a BA/BS degree in Engineering, Life Science, Statistics/Mathematics, Microbiology, or Physical Science is required. A Master degree will be preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis and risk benefit in the pharmaceutical or medical device environment is required. Proficiency in English is required. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred. 30% of travel time outside Puerto Rico is required. Greenbelt or Black Belt certification will be preferred. ASQ Certification (CQE, CQA, CQMOE) desirable. General understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (QSR, MDD, ISO 9001, ISO13485, ISO 14971 and other international standards). Responds proactively to changing regulatory and business needs. Needs to understand or anticipates the customer's needs and adds value by providing specific metric information tailored to the particular business environment. Effective Communication and Analytical Skills are required. Sense of urgency, intellectual curiosity, prudent risk taking.
