Vice President of Engineering

A rapidly growing biomedical technology firm is currently seeking a Vice President of Engineering in Ithaca, NY.  With state-of-the-art technology in the sterilization industry, this firm is looking for an independent and motivated leader to oversee their Engineering department.   Description:  Position involves all aspects of management of design, manufacturing, assembly and testing of a commercial sterilizer.  Candidate will be responsible for the day to day functions of design, drawings, specifications, supplier interface, troubleshooting and failure analysis. Requirements: 4 year engineering degree minimum.  Advanced Business Degree preferred.  Candidate will be motivated to succeed.  Work closely with a very dynamic senior management team.  Leadership in all technical aspects and solutions to customer needs required. Salary commensurate with experience.  Position has paid holidays, 15 paid vacation/sick days per year, and paid medical.  Participation in a very attractive stock option pool.  Qualified candidates may apply by submitting their resume to Ahmed Kurtom ( ahmedkurtom@mergisgroup.com ).
