User Experience Designer / Interaction Designer

The user experience designer must be a strong application designer with the ability to push the limitations of the web to support business objectives with decisions based on multiple forms of user data and UX methodologies.
Responsibility Overview:
Work with subject matter experts and selected users to identify and document the optimum workflow for both new and existing productsWork with product managers and engineers to implement that optimum workflow in the application productsDesign wire frames, site maps and user flow diagrams for new and existing featuresTranslate customer feedback and real world work flows into digital experiences Define reusable user-interaction models/patternsProduce screen mock-upsValidation of designs through usability testing
Qualifications:
Required:4+ years as a Interaction Designer with an IA or UX backgroundStrong conceptual skills and experience implementing innovative user experience solutionsHands on experience working on large web based applicationsHighly Proficient in XHTML and CSS and rapid prototype developmentURL needed for portfolio review - please specify level of contribution for each item and include info about the process.
Preferred:Four-year college degree in computer science or graphic design, or equivalent work experienceSome experience with usability research and testingMedical industry experience a plus
