USIS Client Engagement Director

Delaware, DE IT/Software Development Job SummaryDescription: A successful USIS Director, Client Engagement will build and maintain relationships with key US business stakeholders within their respect area. The Director, Client Engagement will leverage these relationships to bring strategic insight and value to the US business through an in-depth understanding of business needs combined with a unique perspective on how IS solutions can contribute to achieving and/or exceeding business objectives. Each Client Engagement Director will lead a virtual account team of service management, requirements analysts, solution development and architecture subject matter experts for the overall accountability for the delivery of IS services to a distinct area of the business. Client Engagement Directors will work collaboratively across the IS organization to achieve greatest impact. They will be proficient at scoping proof-of-concepts, developing business cases, relationship management and influencing the organization around their business solutions while utilizing their IS expertise.Major Responsibilities · Build and maintain relationships with appropriate US business stakeholders · Establish client engagement role as a strategic business partner to key customer groups · Ensure engagement with customer senior management teams to understand and identify opportunities for IS to contribute to achieving/exceeding US business objectives and influence stakeholders to action · Act as a consultant to the client, scope and develop effective proof-of-concepts and business cases to sell their ideas · Create and define strategic Account Plans for their respective business stakeholder area · Own the delivery of all IS solutions and services to the US business stakeholder area · Establish and lead a skilled and high-performing client engagement virtual account team to partner with the USIS Architecture, Services, and Solutions Delivery organizations to develop and deliver meaningful business solutionsResponsibilities· BS degree Business Administration or Information Science · Minimum 8 years IS management in client facing or consulting type rolesDemonstrated ability to: · Think strategically and collaboratively influence others · Effectively communicate complex concepts and IS solutions to business leaders · Manage overall performance of key business change initiatives supporting the customer stakeholders · Function as a change agent with strong leadership, interpersonal, influencing, communication and negotiation skills · Proven ability to influence and build strategic working relationships with senior AZ internal customers, peers and vendors regardless of organizational boundaries · Ability to prioritize according to business strategy and recognize opportunities to apply IS solutions and innovation to specific situations · Effectively consult with clients to uncover business needs and craft timely and effective solutions · Exhibits strong passion for customer orientated services and solutionsPreferred Background · 12+ years IS management in client facing or consulting type roles · MBA or similar experience · Knowledge of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry We want you to build a balanced life at AstraZeneca.
