TRANSLATIONAL MEDICINE DATA MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role involves data mining and data management associated with animal models and clinical studies of type 2 diabetes, lung CA, cognition, and rheumatoid arthritis in support of a cross company initiative.  The successful applicant will review documents (e.g., Investigator Brochures, protocols, CAN documents, study reports, etc) and extract relevant data into excel templates and/or web-based applications.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of preclinical and clinical processes in drug development (dose setting, demonstration of exposure, study design). Understanding of preclinical disease/efficacy models. Understanding of clinical biomarker endpoints. Familiar with Excel, DMPS, web-based data mining processes. Able to work with little supervision. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Basic or applied scientific research experience, portfolio management experience.

 

EDUCATION:

- BA with 3-5 years of experience in drug development, experience in translational medicine or experience relevant to medicine highly desired. 

- MA or advanced degree with 1-3 years relevant experience.
